A note to Founders

Why did I start a franchise consulting company?

I created the Franchise GrowthLab because I have been that franchise founder who felt the weight of the world on his shoulders as my company grew and scaled from start-up to one of the largest franchise brands in Canada.

I do this because I’ve spent too many nights feeling sick to my stomach trying to figure out my plan A, B, and C in case plan A did not work.

I want to help other franchisor founders because I’ve pulled my family along with my  dream and they helped me all along the way.

I do what I do because I have now come out the other side, successfully scaling a franchise system across multiple countries and into the 100’s of units, then successfully exiting and being nicely rewarded for doing so.

I have been where you are now, and I know all too well the struggles you face on a daily basis.

So why do I work? I no longer need the money. (That’s what happens when you scale your business successfully). I could have retired long ago. But:

I LOVE franchising. I LOVE designing and creating something new.

I LOVE working with founders, who have a unique idea and a vision for their company, and want nothing more than to scale that vision across the country. Most of all, I keep working to help franchisors because I am a franchise entrepreneur who simply wants to see more Canadian franchise success stories.
